Class A CDL Training Utah

A CDL (commercial driver's license) is a permit that allows you to use certain types of specialized vehicles, trucks, such as semi-trucks, and trailers. A commercial driver's license (CDL) is essential for all truck drivers: whether you want to be a school bus driver, a long-haul trucker, or a delivery service truck driver. Obtaining a Class A - CDL permits you to operate a (GVWR) gross vehicle weight rating of 26,000 pounds or more. It also allows you to tow a trailer weighing at least 10,000 pounds.

You may be capable to drive the following vehicles with a Class A - CDL:

  •  Flatbeds and tractor-trailers
  •  Tanker vehicles
  •  Tractor-trailer buses
  •  Livestock Carriers
  • Combinations of truck and trailer (double and triple trailers)

A Class A-CDL lets you use the Class B and Class C vehicles as well, with more special endorsements required for some.
